Austin and Shanda Brown PDF Print E-mail
brown_thumbAustin and Shanda Brown were both called to Missions at a very young age. Since 2000, they have ministered as missionaries to Europe, serving two years as international youth pastors in Brussels, Belgium, and helping to plant two churches, as well as working with college students.  Their focus is on discipleship and mentoring through the ministry of Master’s Commission.   Working toward spiritual transformation, they teach students how to put the Gospel into practice in their own lives and share it with those who are lost.  They have been involved in connecting pastors in the U.S. with overseas missions opportunities, developing teams to serve in orphanages, Bible Schools, Churches and youth evangelism.

The Brown’s are ordained with Harvest Churches International and have partnered with a church in Berlin, Germany, to work in the discipleship and evangelism ministry of Master’s Commission.  They believe that God will use this program as a mighty tool for both Christian youth and those who have never heard the Gospel to spark reformation in the lives of people and turn them back to God.

They have been in Berlin, Germany, since January of this year and are leading the youth ministry at their church for a season. The majority of the youth are about to leave high school and feel they are without direction.  The Browns have created a summer discipleship program geared towards:  building a strong personal relationship with Jesus, reaching your local community, servanthood, and being grounded in doctrine.  Austin is currently attending language school and Audrey will begin in September.  Austin has had several opportunities to share the Gospel with his class, which has students from 11 nations attending.

There are 500 million people in Europe but only 2 % of them are Christians.   Austin and Shanda will be training young people in pastoral ministry as well as hosting youth evangelism teams from the States and reaching out to the 182 nationalities in Berlin, a gateway city to the world.  Your prayers and financial support on behalf of the Browns will help them reach out to the world through that gateway.
