The workshop will follow the normal Montgomery bi-monthly meeting format with a Monday evening meal together and a meeting on Tuesday. Each person/couple is responsible for their own meal on Monday evening and their lodging. There is no registration fee for the workshop, but we do need you to register so we can be good stewards in planning the dinner arrangements, facilities for the meeting, and the materials we will be providing attendees. With all the busyness, pressure, and responsibilities of ministry, it is hard for ministers and their spouses to find time to get away and focus solely on each other. We believe that a strong and healthy marriage is vital to a strong and healthy ministry. That’s why we have a special event planned for ministers and their spouses—to get away for a time of rest, refreshing, and renewal.
Harvest Churches International has planned a marriage retreat for the spring of next year at the beautiful WinShape Retreat in Rome, Georgia. The dates are April 28th-30th, 2011, but to secure your reservation, you need to act quickly.
Put the World on Hold
The WinShape Retreat sits atop forty acres of unspoiled mountain wilderness, serenely nestled in a wildlife refuge. It is sequestered from the outside world—a media free environment with no phones or internet connections in any of the rooms. WinShape is a safe haven for couples to rekindle passion, grow stronger, and be restored. It’s a place to put the world on hold.
There are hiking and bike trails for the more adventurous and walking trails along lakeside paths for romantic strolls. Two hour bike rentals are available for $10 per person or $15 per couple. Massages ($55/half hour, $85/1 hour) are also available but must be scheduled when you make your reservation. A gift shop and fitness facility is available to enjoy during your stay.

The cost of the marriage retreat is only $525 per couple, which includes your lodging, eight meals, a bonfire, and the marriage sessions hosted by WinShape’s professional staff.
